As technology continues to improve every year, the music industry wants to take advantage of the latest equipment before something new takes over. With the continuing rise for live stream video through YouTube, Vimeo, Twitch, and Periscope, the market looks to evolve and the next big thing may have already arrived: streaming in 360-degrees. Although adjustments are still being made, it seems like this new form of technology could be around in the foreseeable future. In a recent blog post from YouTube, they are going to introduce live streaming in 360-degrees for weekend two at Coachella. No details have been given yet as to who will be available for live streaming, but it’s still a good option to have for those who are unable to attend the festival. Once set times for live streaming are available, we’ll give you an update!
