The annual Forbes’ list of electronic dance music artists who earn the most money in 2016 has been unveiled with some noticeable changes from the 2015 rankings. Coming in first place for the fourth consecutive year is Calvin Harris with $63 million while Dutch legend Tiësto moves up to second place with $38 million. David Guetta is third with $28 million and Zedd comes after with $28.5 million, partially because of recent collaborations with Selena Gomez and Ke$ha along with sponsorship deals. The most surprising ranks on this list is Jack Ü (Skrillex and Diplo) for landing in the second half of the top ten 10 with multiple platinum records. Last year Skrillex was fourth on the list and Diplo jumped from ninth to fourth. Another interesting tidbit about this year’s top ten list is it dropped a 1% net worth combined from last year’s list. The last time the list saw a decrease of combined net worth of the top ten list was in 2012.
