SoundandNoize sat with All Day I Dream’s favourite artist: Lost Desert.  His studio is his sanctuary – crafting his dreamy sound through music.  He unfolds his musical journey within the industry arising in this modern evolution. Down below you can listen to his new album, alongside staying posted with his inside scoop!

1) Best describe your sound: Clean, original, dreamy & catchy.

2) What motivated you to work with Lee Burridge and All Day I Dream?
The sound of the label in 2015 grabbed me by the throat , meeting Lee was a blessing.

3) What is your vision for dance music within the new 3 years?
I believe music is a never ending circle of somethings old something new something borrowed something blue.

4) Explain the creative process behind your new album ‘Melt’ :
Many hours in the studio searching for the next best sound that touches our senses. Then testing out the new sound in the studio, listening to what works and what doesn’t.

5) Who are your favourite artists to work with? Who has inspired you to produce and be involved in the electronic dance music scene?
That list would be a very long one, being in the music scene for 3 decades, i try to be open for more then one genre for sure, that (in my mind) is progression, I must say the producer that pulled me in to the All Day I Dream sound was and still is Matthew Decay, the tracks he made with Lee burridge will always be a blueprint for our sound, needless to say some sessions with Mr Decay are still on my bucket list!

6) Who are your top favourite up – coming artists?
So many young talented guys and girls out there, just to name a few in random order, Armin Miran, Hermanez, Simon Vuarambon, Madota, Maxi Degrassi, Amonita.

7) Where can we see you playing this summer? The closest to my home will be AMPERE open air festival in belgium, Burning man will be the most dusty one and towards the end of the year i will be touring Asia, just to finish off 2019 down under, where ill be playing the RETURN TO RIO festival in Sydney, Australia. What a year it has been, thank you all !!!!
