Ultra Music Festival is almost here. The hype is over! It’s time for one of the hottest music events to go down. Each year, DJs all over the world bring together massive sets and release new content for all to marvel over. Here’s a list of 5 of the best sets (including a surprise bonus set) to help you make some hard decisions for who to see on this completely stacked lineup.

5. DJ Snake

If you’re into some of the harder and wilder stuff. DJ Snake is the man to see. Last years set was filled with everything from Trap, Dubstep and even Electro House. His success has since skyrocketed, setting the standard for his performances even higher. There’s no doubt he will deliver one for the ages.

4. Tiesto

Tiesto has always been under the microscope ever since helping pioneer the Trance scene, and then shifting into EDM. Despite this, he still manages to deliver some of the biggest sets at the biggest venues. With so much acclaim and experience, it is impossible to be disappointed from a Tiesto set at Ultra.

John Digweed

There are few DJs with as much experience as John Digweed. Digweed is one DJ that you can rely on delivering a powerful set anywhere you see him. Whether a small club venue or a global stage like Ultra, John Digweed never fails. This set is filled with highs and lows, light and dark. Check it out for an interesting blend of Techno.

2. Carl Cox

There’s no way Carl Cox wouldn’t make this list. His sets are massive from beginning to end. Last year he had his own stage, titled ‘Carl Cox & Friends’. Being the rep of your own stage came with huge responsibilities, and he delivered. Expect more of the same from this man this year.

1. Eric Prydz

To me, this entire list is completely debatable based on your experience there last year. The one DJ who cannot be debated is Eric Prydz. Ultra serves as one of his staging areas for new tracks and melodies. 2 years ago he showed the world his ‘Tether’ remix, and even closed with a surprise edit of ‘Pjanoo’. You really never know what’s in store with this Swedish DJ. Expect something special and unique this year. A must see for anyone attending.

Bonus: Kaskade

Kaskade didn’t play a performance last year at Ultra, but he’s back again this year. At Ultra 2014, his set was absolute bliss, and filled with uplifting and anthemic tracks. It truly was a set to remember that year. This year should be even better.
